Grow a candy cane garden! All
you need is some magic seeds and Christmas snow (any “soil” will work).
Make a hole in the snow and plant
2-3 seeds in each hole
Space them about 3 inches apart
Cover with snow
If planted on Christmas Eve check
your garden first thing in the morning to find a garden full of freshly grown candy canes! Otherwise, it may take a day or
~~Help your child make the magic seeds by breaking a candy cane into pieces
~~Use candy coated sunflower seeds
~~Follow instructions above
~~Then when your child is away or asleep
~~ “Plant” completely wrapped candy canes in their place (the seeds will melt in snow)
~~Be just as amazed as your child, this will become a very treasured family tradition!
